Project Libe (/Li.Bee/).

Our name originates from the Tigrinya translation of heart, and in part of our admiration for the community based activism and support present in Eritrean culture we use principles close to our hearts to support and empower migrant communities.

HOW WE WORK

  • RESEARCH

We prioritize producing findings and publishing research through qualitative and quantitative methods. It's through this practice that we’re able to communicate our mission and work to challenge our community and government, ensuring our efforts for individual and systemic change prove fruitful.

  • Projects

We offer projects on varying topics ranging from mental and physical health, economic and financial support, education, and personal and community development through activities, guest speakers, community panels, and more.

  • COMMUNITY

We believe a strong community is fundamental to change, and so we host various events and activities to provide migrants the opportunities to connect, find and offer support, and grow.
