Scholarships for High School Students
A list of scholarships available for various high school students intending to attend a university or college.
To be eligible for the Colorado State University First Generation Award, applicants must: be a first generation student; be a newly admitted student in a degree program at Colorado State University-Fort Collins campus by March 1st and enroll at CSU the following summer or fall; demonstrate financial need; be a Colorado resident or be classified as an in-state resident; be a US citizen or an eligible noncitizen; be enrolled full-time (must be taking at least 12 credits per semester); and not have yet earned a bachelor’s degree.

Wm C “Bill” Sterner Memorial Scholarship
Wm. C. “Bill” Sterner Memorial Scholarship is for high school seniors attending an accredited Colorado high school who are applying for and are planning to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder. This scholarship is named in honor of Wm. C. “Bill” Sterner, Elevations Credit Union’s President and CEO from 2000 to 2008. Elevations Foundation proudly supports scholarship initiatives for local graduating high school seniors in their pursuit of higher education. All Elevations Foundation scholarship recipients have a proven track record in academics and community engagement, but most importantly they have a financial need. A national scholarship for low-income African American high school seniors. Ron Brown Scholars receive $40,000 toward their college of choice, and are provided mentoring, leadership experiences, and service opportunities.
Application Deadline: August 1, 2023- December 1, 2023
The Evans Scholarship is a full tuition and housing college scholarship for high-achieving caddies with limited financial means. To qualify, caddies must meet the requirements of having a strong caddie record, excellent academics, demonstrated financial need and outstanding character.
Application Deadline: August 1, 2023- October 15, 2023
The Sachs Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship application is available to Colorado High School seniors planning to pursue their undergraduate degree beginning in the autumn of 2022, Sachs Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship grants are typically awarded in the amount of $10,000 to $12,500 per year for four years of study ($40,000 to $50,000 total award) and can be applied to any accredited institution where a student is enrolled full-time.
