A list of scholarships available for various college students.

First Generation Award

To be eligible for the Colorado State University First Generation Award, applicants must: be a first generation student; be a newly admitted student in a degree program at Colorado State University-Fort Collins campus by March 1st and enroll at CSU the following summer or fall; demonstrate financial need; be a Colorado resident or be classified as an in-state resident; be a US citizen or an eligible noncitizen; be enrolled full-time (must be taking at least 12 credits per semester); and not have yet earned a bachelor’s degree.

Sallie Mae Fund and Thurgood Marshall College Fund

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and The Sallie Mae Fund are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending an accredited post-secondary institution. Two Hundred Sixty (260) students completing a two-year, four-year, or trade/vocational certificate/certification program will be selected to receive a gap scholarship of $2,500 for the 2023-2024 academic school year. Selected students must be in good academic standing, but at risk of not returning to or graduating/completing due to an outstanding financial need, and/or emergency situation that leads to a financial aid crisis.

Application Deadline: July 10, 2023 - June 28, 2024 or until funds are exhausted

QBE Scholarship for Diversity and Inclusion in Insurance

The QBE Scholarship for Diversity and Inclusion in Insurance was created to provide need-based scholarships to Black/African American and Hispanic sophomore and junior students who are enrolled full-time at accredited four-year colleges and universities, and community colleges.
